How would I know
With all this questioning
If I’ve gone off track

I think I’d know

Would feel less connected to God
I feel more connected

Would lead away from peace
I feel more peace

Off track

Would feel dark and restricted
I feel lighter, more free

Off track

Would feel like the world closing in
My world has cracked wide open 

I think

Would feel
A lot worse

I think

Off track
Would distance me
From me

But my conscience

Is strong
And at peace
So I trust it

I’m not on the track

I was on before

But I’m also not
Off track
